Reminder: The SMMS red, white, and blue dance will be tomorrow, September 11th from 3:30-5:00. Tickets are $5 and will sold at lunches on Friday. Concessions will also be for sale at the dance so students can bring extra money for that if they wish to purchase snacks. Parents must come in and sign their student out for pick up after the dance. If students are going home with each other, a note must be turned in by both guardians. Have a great rest of your week!

The WCPS Middle School Athletic Handbook has been updated, and all eligible 6th-grade students are now permitted to try out for all middle school sports teams for the 2026–2027 school year.

We hope you can join us for a back to school celebration for the K-12 Maroons! The celebration will be this Saturday, August 8th, from 10:00-2:00 at the GWHS track. Each grade level will be recognized with a celebratory lap around the track. There will be free food, games, and school supply give-aways. We hope we see you there!
